Melamine is an organic base and a trimer of cyanamide, called 1,3,5-Triazine-2,4,6-triam chemically. Its other chemical names include 2,4,6-Triamino-s-triazine, Cyanurotriamide, Cyanurotriamine, and Cyanuramide.
